Abstract. In the article, the principle modular educational program within the field of study 44.03.05 Pedagogical education (with two specialisations) developed at Sevastopol State University according to the new Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education and the requirements of the teacher’s professional standard is presented. It is noted that when developing such a programme, it is necessary to apply the competence based approach, to define clearly the goals and objectives of each module, and to work out a system of evaluation tools for universal, general professional and professional competencies that should be formed in future specialists in pedagogical education.
