Value Aspect of Education in the Context of Forming Future Journalists’ Professional Identity

Abstract. The article considers specificity of the specialist’s (the journalist’s) professional identity. Special attention is paid to analysing the value and motivational aspect of the journalist’s professional identity. Professional identity components common to all the professions are identified. Pedagogical experience of professional identity formation is examined in the axiological aspect by the example of a concrete academic discipline at the meaningful, organizational-professional and applied levels. The results of the empirical research are analysed using mathematical and statistical software.
