Students’ Social Interaction Competence: Essence, Structure and Content

Abstract. The article justifies the necessity to form students’ social interaction competence in educational process. Contrary to previous studies, this phenomenon is examined in the aspect of group activity aimed to achieve a common objective and to develop positive interpersonal relations between the participants. The paper proposes the author’s original interpretation of essence, structure and content of students’ social interaction competence, which includes value-motivational, cognitive, technological and reflexive components.
