Requirements for Organizing Students’ Autonomous Work When Teaching Foreign Language Using Flipped Classroom Model

Abstract. The research objective is to justify requirements for organizing non-linguistic students’ autonomous work when teaching a foreign language using the flipped classroom model. The paper analyses problems of organizing students’ autonomous work on the basis of the flipped classroom model. Scientific originality of the study involves theoretical justification of requirements for organizing students’ autonomous work when teaching a foreign language using the flipped classroom model: establishing study load limits, setting academic targets, developing assessment criteria, applying multi-level teaching strategies, introducing information educational technologies. The research findings are as follows: the author proves that the flipped classroom model can be efficiently used to improve quality of foreign-language education at non-linguistic higher school.
