Personalisation of University E-Learning Environment as Linguodidactic Issue

Abstract. The purpose of the study is to make a case for personalisation of university e-learning environment taking into consideration individual abilities and needs of students with prospective Bachelor’s degrees in Language Studies. The authors put emphasis on the fact that digital technologies are an effective means of improving foreign language teaching quality owing to their relevance, flexibility, informational saturation, which strengthen motivation to learn in multi-level differentiation setting. The research is novel in that it provides a rationale for principles of personalised teaching as a gradual promotion of a learner to the position of a self-learner. As a result, the authors emphasise specific nature of modern digital educational space, which makes it possible to project different variants of professional interaction.
