Methodology of Teaching the Russian Scientific Speech to Foreign Military Students

Abstract. The research objective includes development and approbation of methodology for teaching the Russian scientific speech to foreign military students. The article examines specificity of teaching the Russian scientific speech on the basis of an electronic textbook compiled at the Russian Language Department of the Military University. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that the authors propose a game technology to develop students’ oral and written proficiency in the Russian scientific speech. The conclusion is made that the developed methodology promotes formation of foreign military students’ thematic, linguistic, language and communicative competences required for studying at the Russian military higher school.
