Organization of Subject Olympiads for Schoolchildren (by the Example of Olympiads in Journalism)

Abstract. The article is devoted to a relevant problem of organizing Olympiads in journalism for middle- and senior-grade students of general education institutions. The author comprehensively examines types of tasks in regional and all-Russian Olympiads in journalism, considers organizational forms of these events, describes regional experience of organizing a media Olympiad in Dostoevsky Omsk State University, analyses tasks and assignments, which can be used in schoolchildren’s Olympiads in journalism in educational institutions of the humanities profile.
