QR Code and Canva Platform as Means to Form Schoolchild’s Reading Culture at Literature Lessons

Abstract. The paper aims to identify digital technologies that help to raise learners’ interest in reading, to enhance their skills of literary text perception. The article examines digital technologies, such as QR code and the Canva platform, which can be successfully used at Literature lessons; the authors justify efficiency of these technologies when working with "project books" aimed to structure newly acquired knowledge. They are also efficient when working on a literary journal within the framework of an educational project. Scientific originality of the study involves revealing a pedagogical potential of learners’ project activity based on digital technologies, such as QR code and the Canva platform. The experiment results indicate that digital technologies, such as QR code and the Canva platform, help to raise learners’ interest in reading, to enhance their skills of literary text perception.
